Work is becoming really interesting.... and the weekend's not gonna be bad either ;-)))

My project's topic is an operational transformation of a company. And getting deeper into the project, i'm every day more convinced that our role is to coach our client's senior management. To make the reinvent their company, coming up with the ideas we would come up with if we were wearing their pants :-). And this is gonna be tough as these guys are sometimes not that much motivated or skilled but it's gonna be extremely rewarding experience if we succeed. And also, a very good learning for me to see how to influence people in the right way.

So we are gonna have a lot of contact with workers, foremen and other lower managers, to see what their potential is and then coach the senior managers....

So let's see what's gonna happen. It's definitely not only work i'm focusing on these days. On the weekend i'm going to Cape Town to see the top horce racing of the year, let's see if "my" horse wins.

Some of my friends went to learn surfing this weekend, it's so cool. In Jeffrey's Bay (close enough for weekend flights) there is allegedly one of the best surfing beaching in the world.. When i get rid of my plastic shoe, wanna learn surfing too :-)
